Brie & Cranberry sauce

30 Jul

Whenever Christmas time comes, I can’t wait to have brie and cranberry sauce. Soft and savoury cheese and sweet sauce immediately bring me to the happy festive feelings.
I like having the cheese as it is, but it taste good when melted too!

Cream, Meringue & Strawberry sauce

29 Jul

This is basically Eton Mess on a toast. You could go for a whole effort of making meringue yourself, whipping cream, preparing strawberry sauce. BUT, we don’t want that…
Get ready-made ones, it’s much easier. Spread the cream, crush and pile up the meringue and drizzle of strawberry sauce. In a few minutes, a gorgeous dessert toast is on your plate.

Condensed Milk

28 Jul

I love this thick milky juice called condensed milk… It somehow reminds me of my childhood, don’t know why…
Simply pour sweetened condensed milk all over the toast, and get in! Be careful not to tilt the toast or you get sticky milky hands!

Bacon & Fried egg

26 Jul

We can’t forget about this classic, bacon and fried egg! Either a morning after a heavy drinking session or a weekend brunch, this is sure to full your empty stomach!
Get less fatty bacon for those who wanna be “healthier”, and of course, nice free range eggs for your oozy egg.

Chocolate Spread

25 Jul

This is a classic of classics for chocolate lovers. Apply a thick layer of chocolate spread on a toast, cover it completely so that you feel like you’re eating a brown muddy of awesomeness!
Oh one more thing, don’t forget to lick the spoon after you successfully made the toast disappear in chocolate!

Sweet corn& Butter

23 Jul

When you cooked sweet corns with a knob of butter, they tastes sweeter and the flavour get enhanced. So, why not pile them up on a buttered toast for an afternoon snack.
Don’t forget another knob of butter on top too!

Ginger Conserve

21 Jul

Look at this golden conserve, lovely… yeah, I said “conserve” just to sound posh, but basically it’s a jam. I like the ones that have lots of chunky bits of ginger.
Sweet but fiery ginger is so addictive that I always keep adding more and more … and one more.. till I can’t see the surface of toast.

Peanut butter & Honey

19 Jul

I love peanut butter, especially the crunchy ones. However they sometimes make my mouth dry when I eat a lot at once (maybe I’m just greedy…). So, I was thinking to make it a little more moist. With what… Honey!
It’s smooth and crunchy at the same time, really good!

Smoked salmon & Cream cheese

13 Jul

Smoked salmon and cream cheese are one of classic toppings for bagels, so.. we thought they must work on a toast well! Yep, of course!
A thickly spread cream cheese, smokey salmon, crusty bread…, all in one. Simply, heaven!

Scrambled Egg

12 Jul

Scrambled egg is the easiest of the eggy recipes. I’m sure you can handle this one even a busy morning because you don’t need any fancy technique. Just beat the eggs, pour them in a heated pot, scramble, scramble and one more time…, scramble.
See, even a monkey can make it!
